As a music and motion picture producer, for Edward, the words, sounds, and images all play a part in telling a story.

He’s a pianist, guitarist, singer, and songwriter creating rhythmic chord progressions with a subtle, gothic atmosphere to tell the stories of love, death, and emotional ebb and flow. Edward uses vivid imagery and metaphor to conjure a narrative within his songs and is deeply in tune with the emotions within lyric writing.

With Silence Unknown Callers, Edward wanted a cinematic touch, but his solo work is crafted around the American song-writing and storytelling tradition in the footsteps of acts like Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and more recent artists like John Mayer. He is also influenced by Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and the Dave Matthews Band. Edward’s music is many things in one- although mostly acoustic, and focusing heavily on instruments like guitars and banjos, this softness is offset by the emotional intensity and deep reflection which runs throughout it.

While Silence Unknown Callers has an adult contemporary, jazz, pop vibe, Edward’s frontman music lies somewhere in between country, Americana, blues, and singer-songwriter, and stands out with his dedication to crafting a warm, analog sound. Edward also loves instruments like the violin, fiddle, harmonica, and organ, recreating a sound with plenty of legends in itself. In this way, the narrative of his songs becomes more potent with a deeply human musical landscape.

Edward has been practicing music and songwriting for over 20 years and in addition to songwriting and producing Mors Venereum, he is slowly crafting his own debut album as a frontman, A Man Without a Face, which sums up his haunting imagery and gothic yet gentle sound. For this, Edward has honed his output into the best of the best, choosing tracks carefully to showcase his musical world. As a result of dedication and awareness of the emotional flow throughout each musical story, Edward’s work is a treasure trove for all those who love the simple power of storytelling.
